Project Overview
Customer Portal is a unified customer experience platform for the Stolthaven Terminals customers, designed to streamline and support the end-to-end customer journey.
It empowers users to manage their orders, inventory, and contracts through responsive digital services. With a consistent and intuitive interface, the platform ensures a seamless and cohesive experience across all Stolthaven terminals worldwide.
By centralizing critical customer functions, Customer Portal enhances operational efficiency, reduces friction, and delivers a modern, user-focused solution for their global logistics management.

The challenge
Stolthaven Terminals relied on fragmented, localized internal applications to share information with clients, making it difficult to scale or maintain a consistent experience. This led customers to seek alternate, often informal channels—such as emails or directly contacting Stolt employees—for critical information like material status, document requests, or product movement orders. These workarounds not only impacted operational efficiency but also strained their customer relationship.

This highlighted a critical design opportunity:
to create a unified, user-friendly platform that simplifies access to information and supports every stage of the product movement order. The goal was to design a seamless, scalable experience that strengthens customer relationships and reflects Stolthaven’s commitment to service and transparency.
